As a result of educational reforms in Poland in 1999 the new three-year secondary school was created.

The goals of the school are as follows:

• to strengthen individual interests
• to promote respect for Polish values and traditions
• to encourage independence and responsibility
• to encourage participation in the student school council
• to promote an ecological and healthy lifestyle

 

The school offers additional activities within the curriculum, including:

 

• broadening the scope of the core curriculum

• at least two optional subjects (according to student's choice)
• English and German language directed to international and matura examinations

• enterprise schemes

• preparatory instruction of law

• learning strategies

• individual consultations with teachers

• Physical Education, including tennis and swimming
